There are mixed opinions of lots of people about Twitter that how it should and should not be used. It is one of the medium which you can modify to fit your individual needs. It is up to you how you want to use it.

Because of this flexibility there are lots of people using Twitter but many of them are not using it correctly and it can & does damage their business very badly. Here I am sharing some behaviors that can kill your online reputation and business on Twitter.

Truetweet can protect your account against spam ones, and those spam ones are always fake followers.

Most businesses aren't using Twitter correctly. Twitter is a communication tool. We use it to share information, to communicate with people, to engage people. Most businesses are just using it as shameless advertising. That's not really adding any value to anyone's lives.

True, the real success from Twitter comes from combining these two. Aswell @messaging to your clients and potential clients, but every x days sending a new promotion from your company where your followers might be interested in.

This leads to: Happy customers because of the fast support and if everything is done correct, some more sales too ;)

Not much there. If you are a n00b on the Internet then I would suppose it has value. These are common sense items. People that have no common sense won't get it anyway.

But, I Tweeted it for you anyway ;) Somebody maybe could use some common sense lessons.

Online reputation management is an essential thing for your business. Using social media sites for your own promotions could be a major thing if you don't know how to utilize it.

Twitter can kill a web business if the owner spends more time in twitter than searching for business opportunities :)

I think Twitter, like much of social media is great if people genuinely try to interact with potential business associates and customers. If you're simply sending out your website link 3 times a day, you're wasting your time.

i dont believe in twitter now a day because they banned my account for 6 month without any reply or reason and when i sent two email same day yesterday they have enabled it again saying sorry you were banned because of spamming and bla bla and now we are revoking all access, and i think they could have replied me this thing before 6 month to keep one loyal client but it happen to lots of people so never trust on twitter from now onwards for marketing. I think they dont have any proper rules / regulation to operate the business.
