    Look at this directory

    http://www.yeeseek.com/ PR6

    Creation Date 09-May-2006

    Links
    Google: 29
    Msn: 14
    Yahoo: 198

What worth years of promotions if somebody can make this result in 3 month.

How do they do it ?
    What is the trick ?
Can you list your opinions ?

It isn't that hard if u have some decent PR links, 1-2 PR7 links and you get PR6 :)
But high PR isn't everything ;)

I think getting a few high PR (PR6, PR7) quality links to your site is the key to get a good PR for your site in quick time.

Sure very secret lol - just complete a 2 second check of the directory in Yahoo and you'll find out how it has got a PR6 in a short period.

Plus Google was giving away PR to new sites like confetti.

That's funny. I did'nt know that yahoo handed out page rank. I'm pretty sure they do not, so to say this site got pr 6 because of links that yahoo is showing is incorrect. Only google has the right to pass out page rank.

If you took a good look at his site and checked the backlinks from google you would see how this is possible, page rank can be passed in different fashions and sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes you can achieve a good pr just by linking within your own site correctly.

And the idea that google only handed out page rank to new websites on the last update is also incorrect. My site onlinemarketingadvisors.com went from a 4 to 5 on the last update, google does not just give away page rank it has to be earned (or you could just steal it). If your site did not raise in pr it is more then likely because you did not push it hard enough.

I could go on forever about this but I'll stop there, but I will say this before I go, "study the google page rank information at google" http://www.google.com/technology/

He was suggesting that you should check the backlinks in Yahoo - not suggesting that Yahoo gives out PR.

It is the preffered method to use Yahoo for backlink checking since it returns more comprehensive results - whereas google returns abridged results.
