    Hello,

I have a suggestion to the mods. You should offer a few day trial to DP members, to see what its like to be a Premium Member, that way we know the advantages. It would be a good selling point..

    Just a suggestion!

Most of the benefits are listed. You just want to see what’s behind area 51:)

This will give you a better idea on what is on offer http://forums.digitalpoint.com/payments.php

    You will have to pay.

    Thanks Brian

    Hi,

Its only $25 for 1 month so why don't you give it a try.

Up to 4 links in your signature.
For sale threads started in Buy/Sell/Trade will stick at the top for 2 hours after created and 2 hours when sale is ending.
For sale threads started in Buy/Sell/Trade will be highlighted with a unique color.

Would be my 3 best features for it and its worth it. If and when you do start to use BST you will realize that its a fierce place so standing out will help and you will earn your $25 back easy.

You don't need a huge imagination to be able to picture what it's like to be a premium member - just look at the profile of a premium member and imagine your name instead of theirs.

1 month option is just for trial purpose so why don't you go with it ? Once you satisfied with that then go with 3-6-12 months option.

    DON.

I agree with deluxdon although a few day trial is good idea, it could convince more people to be a Premium Member

Yeah I was actually only thinking of like a 5 day trial or something..

Just to see what its like..

One month is a 25 dollar value..

    Shouldn't give that free!

I don't think so that admin consider this. Only pay and use 'premium membership'.

    DON.

so you want a review copy?

asking for review copies violates the rules here. if your offering to review a product or service, send a PM to the person offering said service or product. ;)

don't post asking for a review copy.

It wouldn't be fair to paying members if others could sign up for 5 days and get their threads in BST featured alongside theirs.

    That's a great point..

I'd say to not have that available, and to not make Area 51 open to those trying the membership, but then what exactly is the point of a premium membership? Lol.

I think it's better the way it's set up right now; the curiosity of distinction will get to lots of people.

I honestly can't see a single reason why you'd want this anyway. What would it be, a few days of having a bold name and your own user title? There's nothing about it that isn't written on paper except A51, and the whole idea of that is that it's a secret, hence the name.

    @sawz

I am not asking you for a review copy.

I would ask if this thread is breaking any rules, to please delete it. I just was making a suggestion anyways

    I was wrong..

Just buy a month and that's your trial. I had my trial period and felt it was fun for a while but I got a little bit under the money so I pulled the plug. If I had $100 or whatever I'd so take a year of it.
