    I would personally go with any brand but acer as I have known several people with acer computers that have died within a year or 2. HP and Dell are good

    I would suggest you to go for the DELL laptop as it has great looks and you can find all the essential features at low cost in the DELL.

    With Dell, you can customize your laptops online and buy. That is one of the main feature I like in Dell.

    BTW, I am using Dell Latitude 630 currently. :)
