    I recently started a website on quotes and sayings [ i know the market is saturated but still wanted to test my luck :p]

    I got some decent backlinks too but still the site is not ranking..any seo experts here who could help me in this....

    Any review whether positive or negative is welcomed, please comment on design too

    Would give more advice but site is not loading.

    If site is a few months old that is not a huge problem... but it can take a while to start getting good rankings except on your domain keyword.

    I'd get a profile setup in Google Webmaster Central. Another thing you should consider is adding alt image attributes and title text attributes (when you hover over an image or a link your keyword-rich info appears). Also, it's best to use a URL navigation structure that uses dashes not underscores.

    Are the backlinks coming from DesiComments on the same IP?

    Like the site though - great quotes. I'll be back.

    I liked the site some points i felt i will mention

    Your could use your website name too in the title
    Have you not used any Meta Description (not longer than 150 words)
    You could also use Targeted Meta Keywords (5 to 7 i would prefer)
    Name the images if there is any even your name and logo

    And for the ranking it will come just wait a bit more. Hope this helps you..
