    When submitting sites to social bookmarking sites for backlink purposes, what URL should I use from my site ?

    Do I use the home page ? A page that has the most content ?

    Please help

    You can submit single URLs too, usually articles.

    Depending on what your site is. I would submit the link with the content to which you are referring/ linking to. Unless your front page contains all of the content then you link to it.

    link to your main page using the keywords that you want to rank #1 for as your anchor text. if you add other links to the article or to pages linking to this main article you can link to sub pages within your website. for example, if you sell baseball equipment you could have a link to your "www.baseballsite.com" with the anchor text "baseball equipment" and then you can also have links to "www.baseballsite.com/gloves.html" with the anchor text "baseball gloves"

    this will give you some depth in your link campaign.

    social bookmarking uselly used to inedx pages like digg ,dell, reedit, mixx etc ..you can use all pages of your site in bookmarking sites ..also bookmarking sites getting huge traffic that helps to increase your visitor ..

    Good bookmarking sites needs following
    Title: give a title based on your site keywords or basic theme
    URL: give your site URL (actual domain)
    Description: give keywords summary paragraph of your site
    Tags: mostly keywords

    Try and see results.

    I suggest to use the most relative page in term of subject and if its just a listing then use home page only. (beware - do not submit too many urls)

    I suggest you post the main page of your page for websites with specific subject which is related with yours. You can still submit your link pages depending on a relative subject website.
