How to do that? Is it possible with Hootsuite?

If you’re a big Twitter user, then there have probably been times when you wished you could send a particular Tweet a little bit in the future. Maybe something is time sensitive and instead of sending the Tweet now, you want to send it one hour from now.

Or maybe you have a monthly/weekly/daily announcement that you would like to tweet automatically to all of your followers. Another reason could be that you will not be near a computer over the next several days, but you do not want to break your regular tweet schedule/pattern.

Twuffer is the answer to all of the above situations! It allows you to create a list of future tweets and schedule their release in the future.

Thanks for all the replies... But none of them allow recurring tweets :(
Like to send the same tweet every 12h.
Socialoomph does, but only in the pro membership.

Please excuse me but why would you like to send the same tweet every 12 hours? There is no value in that practice and your will be soon reported to Twitter as a spammer.

Hootsuite is the best tool to schedule tweets, use that and keep it relevant!

Try Social Oomph . com - this site works great, it's easy to put the tweets in in the morning and have them post throughout the day. I'd recommend it to anyone.

First off.... He is right. He's trying to give you good advice. But look into a helpful feature of Socialoomph that can and will send out scheduled tweets as well as auto-direct messages. If your using Twitter for marketing, design several different dm's so that it will send out a random (different) dm everytime someone follows you. And as far as scheduled tweets go, make them different. Try to make them sound interesting and helpful to the recipient.

If your attempting to direct sell through Twitter I find the best way to do this is by using an auto blog entry post plugin for twitter which can be used on a self hosted wp blog install. This will allow you to automatically post to twitter each time you post a new blog. Make your posts interesting and useful as well. Get plugins like this at wordpress.org in the plugins directory. Good luck! Dave
