Forum Posting use of signature link

    Hello,

I have been doing this quiet long for my clients but isn't it unethical because mostly forums Ban these accounts who just only post 1 time and left a signature link even the post is related to the topic. What should we do not to get banned and ofcourse when you have to post links on 1000 forums you can make more than one post it take some time. And sometimes I got my IP banned which makes me real mad now I don't do forums in SEO...

If I get this right. I may have the answer for you.
I will give you an example: If your clients represents a porno or gambling site/community and you link on the forum/topic with a right answer. Dose not matter because the form is about law or finance and the admin dose not like it, or simply is not allowed to use a signature link (read site terms and condition before posting). I think that you should find your self the right sites for the right backlink that you want to create.

I hope that I have made my self understood... :)

    Hi there,
I don't think it happens with forums. Every forums has its own rules and regulations, so there may be some forums where it is necessary to appear frequently otherwise they will ban you. So you should read all the rules of the forums before participating.

But isn't it based on the PR of the actual page that you are posting on? Most PR's that a signature would appear on wouldn't have much juice, right??

Forum signatures become worth something when you have 5000 + indexed posts. Then perhaps it has some small effect but no greater effect in this.

forum posting is not bad but i think you have do one post and put the signature so admin banned you because you have posted business purpose, but discussion forums are free for discuss about problems with experts.

Agree. Forum posting isn't bad but every forum has its rules, read the through and check out if a link in signature is allowed, or you will be banned.

When you post to a forum, for SEO purposes, you need to ensure that the forum, the post together with any content or comment you write is related to the site you are collecting backlinks for. Forum rules vary from one forum to another.

Some forums are better than others, if a forum is good a search engine spider will visit the forum many times a day to collect new information. If people are writing garbage/useless comment they will stay away

As long as your forum post sig link is on the topic of the forum (the same or related niche) and also you are following the rules of the forum (make posts on topic) and your sig link is enabled after some number of posts in the system then everything is fine. You are going as per the rules.
