I had to learn the hard way today not to ship with priority mail over seas again. I sent an item to a customer priority mail 2 weeks ago. The status is that it is still in customs. How ever this turd opened a complaint with paypal that he did not get his item yet. So I just lost $300+ hopefully I will get it back. paypal said to make sure you get a sig. Well usps sucks and the tracking sucks, i don't even think you can get a sig over seas with usps. so its going to cost more, but your best bet is if you use paypal and ship over seas use UPS or FEDEX or DHL.. its probably going to cost you lost customers as well, but you can thank paypal for that. THANKS PAYPAL!!
it was shipped two weeks ago. it says it was in customs for almost 2 weeks. so he don't understand that customs can take 2-3 weeks sometimes with postal. He also don't speak or write good english.
Countries like Italy , India, germany are very strict with customs, so u should exercise caution while dealing with high price goods, did u sell on ebay ?
no on my website . this actually went to belgium.. i never had problems with any euro countries before. only sweden one time. most of the time it went in pretty quick. but recently i been shipping to europe with ups and that takes 2 days to get delivered.. breezes right threw customs.
I live in Belgium and I can tell you the customs here are total A$$holes. If you want me to try mediating with your customer pm me.
Lol. If you think that's bad try looking at customs in countries like Indonesia. They charge ridiculous fees for imported goods and the only way of getting the price lower is to bribe em. Sick yes I know
