    According to the latest roadmap from Microsoft, it would appear that Windows 8 will arrive sometime in 2012.

    Windows 8 will probably find a market dominated by a modern OS with lots of good features and good stability and security.

    At least finally they will release something to replace XP, it's about time. vista and vista ME (aka window 7)

    I hope atleast windows 8 would be successful and no security issues..... Let me know if anybody knows why nowadays windows OS have been coming with lot of security issues.. Is this is due to one reason that Bill Gates have resided away from Microsoft office.:)

    Yeah, 2012 is a perfect movie, it takes the natural disasters foretold by ancient calendar angle.
    But I don't believe the Mayan End-Time Prophecy:D

    well i'd still stick with win7 my opinion is that is the best OS that anyone has made. its fast and great looking :D

    That's still gonna be 2 years plus from now and I'm sure a lot will still happen to influence that project of Microsoft. If it's going out, I think it will be some sort of a light OS like Google Chrome is cause I'm sure it (Chrome) will get a portion of their (Windows) market especially for the notebooks.

    By the way, Windows 7 works fine for me so far. But I still need my XP though.

    Windows 7 is a good product, people are always complaining about their windows and have never tried some linux distro or mac.
