Guys, google is the best

oh my god, stop with the 'like omg what search engine is better?' threads..everybody knows google is better..and they more than likely always will be..

Right, Google is best for general searching purpose but I think there are always so many other dedicated search engines like shopping, price comparison purposes.

agree but Google has spread like a virus in every area on the net.

People ask what is the best for everything, now that gets a bit boring after a while.

I regularly see:

What is the best way to make money?
Best way to make $10 week?
Best tool for blogging?
Whats the best affiliate notwork?
Whats the best way to get 2k visitors in the next 5 days?

They never ask how, just the best, lol

I expect to hear kids asking whats the best ___ im suprised by how often people ask for the best of something and how they always want it for free too.

But yeah, google does seem better for many things overall.

 

While i may agree its better then anything out right now that doesnt mean something better
wont come along and take over like they did with yahoo...

All you do when you create threads like this is allow the noobs to post 4 word comments to
build there post count and your not helping any by creating this thread...

google...is like....the best
I know i dont have to justify why its the best search engine, it has also developed several EPIC softwares like desktop applications, including Google Desktop, Picasa, SketchUp, google chrome and Google Earth.
GOOGLE is a big WIN

 

I don't think that there is one soul in this forum that think otherwise ...

 

Don't mistake the limits of your imagination as insight to what the future holds. As GrAveTzT points out the list of other sites and technologies that were indomitable and now obsolete is long and illustrious. And of course trying to discuss what some arbitrary "best" is, is pointless anyway.

 

Google is the biggest and the best and will be for the next 10+ years. Fact !

Nah thats one thing where i say theres never going to be a real danger of anything overtaking google in any way.

Im a believer that google quite literally is part of something beyond itself that it wont carry on growing as a company just because of their team and the money they can invest but rather because its planned to be.

The shift that is happening is where storage will leave personal computers completely, everything stored online, everything through the browsers.

Its quite scary, and obviously each year we lose control of our own lives to google and anything above and beyond it but thats the way that it appears to be going.

So yeah, all the more reason for those best search engine threads to stop and maybe those people should look into how the future might look for them.

Its plain daft to question what SE is the most powerful, best etc etc

Whats really hilarious is suggestions of new search engines that can challenge google, like ones from china or if this and that one get together.

Google wont stop at anything, they want our DNA, lol

 

And I bet they get it...... Google is the new media. Ya know all that news that shouldn't even be talked about on tv... Freedom of the press they say....

Well it is the same here. Google has easily controlled us to an extent.. we work hard on our sites and get them up where we want them and all of a sudden they vanish for awhile...or sometimes for good..But hey atleast there is adsense to fall back on ( wink ) right Google... Yeah they control us alright.. But nothing we can do about it..

There is however no sense in starting threads to add to the ego's however. I think these threads are senseless and do not help anyone..

 

I have a love hate relationship with Google. I love to hate them ;-) Seriously they send traffic for free what is not to love?
