    hostmonster is awesome, hostgator is also good.... godaddy is not so bad, but they're better for domains...

    I agree, only use godaddy for domain registrations not for web hosting.

    Personally I look to see if they have been around for over a year in which case they are at least less likely to be going anywhere.

    All of those on that list a pretty much well known web hosts and can all be trusted. HostGator is probably most reliable but the best known is GoDaddy.
