Wordpress Translation to Japanese

    Has anyone had any experience in translated wordpress to Japanese text...

    Right now the site is in english but I will need to mirror the site in a different folder with some Japanese characters replacing english text..

    I am not going to use any translation plugins, because they do not allows give the correct translations.

    Any suggestions would help :) Thanks

    i guess i might need to install wordpress in that language.

    That was my question too! is there a way to do without a plugin
