    Client Access Licensing is CAL where windows 2003 does have max CAL that can be allowed on single server. Default for win 2003 is only 1 CAL. which means only 2 user can be connected to the server at the same time else it will throw an error.

    but if he sells too many i guess his server would be very good, else it won't handle all clients :)
    and how is this possible with Linux system -.-? and any program ? cant be any if linux only...

    at school we had CAL to 20 students, but that PC was really nice (4 processors x2 cores with 18 gb ram :D )

    There is no such "ultimated" license. How much do you pay for license then? I want to get 1 it just that if its only have 5 or 10 you wont make any income from it and probably only last for 1 few weeks
