    Exactly what sultanofseo said, the Toolbar PR got updated. Just wait till google roles out their Caffeine update to all datacenters. Now that will be an update, Matt Cutts mentioned it happening sometime after the Winter Holidays... If I remember correctly there was a Toolbar update around Christmas or New Years of last year too.

    PR refreshes are normally quarterly.

    As a previous poster mentioned load speed is becoming a factor.

    Yes I to agree to this post. for my site they have 24 back links, and suddenly tis dropped from 14, after 4 days again it's com 24. Any body knows, what is the reason, for dropping and increasing like this...?

    I would hate to think the all mighty Google would just lose my site in the shuffle, although, if that's true I would be happy to see it back again. I still don't see it there today. :confused:

    Alot of my sites are definitely still climbing it seems. I have alot of my sites from crom 0 or 2 all the way up to a PR4. Even domains I just go near the end of Sept and had 0 jumped to PR4. Finally a good all around update.

    Hooray! Google finally gave me back a little of my pagerank! About a year ago I got slapped on one of my sites that I use as a test bed for SEO stuff and apparently a theory I had been working on was correct and I had my butt thrown clear out of the index. But I only changed about 30 of the 600 things I got penalized for and Google gave me back at least a little of my PR and allowed my site back into the index. Went from a PR 4, to a PR of 0, and now back to a PR of 2! I guess a little bit of something is better than a whole lot of nothing!
