I am browser agnostic. The topic is Firefox so I am talking about Firefox and IE. If you want to discuss other browsers, start a thread.
They try to avoid it but they will tell you IE is wonderful.

Man what is your problem with all this bitchiness lol? Did you get out of the wrong side of bed

I love firefox but over the last year it has got slower and started crapping out a lot more, not just on the new Windows 7 computer I got, but on all of my computers.

Now I am not a browser engineer I am an SEO, but using a browser on a daily basis you get used to it and I have been using Firefox for years and it has started to go downhill, maybe it still is the fastest etc etc but the way its heading I do not think it will be for long.

I would like to see tests done on Windows 7 for IE and Firefox as I think things have changed a lot more now.

I already told you where there were some. Here is one I had at hand. There are three or four others with similar results.

Recently, I am experiencing Firefox loading pages. I think there's a bug on their browser.

Just downloaded the Beta version, seems a bit more stable on W7, but still Chrome is super speedy compared to them

Not so. Most people here talk about Firefox and IE so that's how I respond. I use Firefox mostly because all my developer tools are on it. If it weren't for that, I'd probably use Safari right now because it's bleeding edge CSS3 support. Chrome isn't where I need it to be right now but I had said in one thread on this board that all of us will be using Chrome in some part of our every day in about two years. I love Chrome.
You can't do comparisons like that. If Microsoft changes something in a Windows library, something they love to do without telling anyone, but the software relies on that functionality in some way, it can cause any program to fail or act strange. You will read about people who don't understand behavior differences when running the same version of software on two identical computers side by side yet the only difference is a Windows update.

So I wouldn't be surprised if there were problems when a new OS comes out with any software but, if there were any serious issues, you'd read about them on CNET or ZDNet, etc. Here you're talking about six people out of millions of users. You can probably eliminate some of those six who did a bad install.

About the anti-Microsoft thing. I used to develop for Windows years ago. Then Microsoft changed things which cost me a year's time and tens of thousands of dollars (I own my own business). Then I got into web development and learned the horrors of Internet Explorer. I switched to Unix, Linux and BSD, use any other browser, and life has been good. I learned my lesson.

Well, I am not facing any problem with Firefox and Windows 7.
    Its running nicely. :)
But I prefer Chrome over it.
