Hands down in relevancy it's going to be Google. Who do you trust for your search engine queries? I'm pretty sure 9 times out of 10 it's going to be Google. They've got the text dumps pretty well analyzed at this point.

However, for payouts, YPN! seems to have tweaked their revenue share to be higher for the publishers (for the time being).

So, if you're looking for some higher CPCs, try to qualify for YPN! However, in the long run, relevancy will win out with higher CTR.

Google AdSense has my vote (with a slight bias from having been employed there).

You say you tried Google, but have you really optimized it yet?

A lot of people just put the adsense ads in then forget about it, but there is a whole additional layer to adsense to really maximize your revenue. I would suggest reading some of their tutorials and guides they have in the help section. Recently they are also offering 3rd party adds in addition to regular adsense, making their program even more appealing.

With google we can target on which specific site we want to advertise in the content research. This is killer to get real targeted visitors and raise our CTR.

if you have a quality and original your own content and your site is well optimized than adsense is definitely the best.

I agree with many above, that it doesn't matter about the program you go with.

Focus on content. You could have all the Google, Yahoo, Clickbooth, Adbrite...ect ads you want but if your site sucks no one is going to click on the ads.

The biggest mistake I see on this board and by affiliate marketers is that they are focusing on their ads and sponsors far more than the content of their site. Worry about that, and people will click on ads no matter who serves them.

As for who is the best....test them all. Try each one for 2-4 weeks under similar traffic configurations and see who does the best. I like google because they are rich as a king so as long as you don't do shady things to your stats you are getting paid.
