"spending an inordinate amount of energy to game the systems used by the big search engines, so that their less-than-useful pages rank high in popular searches in order to rake in ad revenue." sigh... That's called capitalism, and i love it
I think ther hating because there site doesnt do good in the serps for the keywords there trying to get in the serps for
Well - I read it... but don't you think that we should be using our SEO skills to get DECENT CONTENT up onto the top of the SERPs, thus promoting our service s and making a bit of cash whilst doing it??? No? Well then, if you're in it just for the cash, and will turn to the next cash cow when SEO bombs... are you not everything that he despises? You just have to decide whether or not you care.
Well totally agree, i guess most of the SEO's around here do believe in the power of quality content.. But for a contest i guess anything goes.... basically i hate the mentality where people just make an assumption, when themselves they dont understand a thing... p.s if i win this i would be donating a larger chunk to charity
Interesting. A person who has serious reservations about the SEO industry using linkbaiting to generate links to a "less-than-useful" article and "game the systems used by the big search engines" so their "pages rank high in popular searches".
