There isn't really a required number of articles needed to promote a product, but quality and quantity plays a big part in writing articles and using them to promote a product as both the quantity will help increase your exposure and the quality keeps your article content unique.

With that being said, you could submit just 1 article and be fully promoting your website especially if it has good quality. I would suggest taking it slow then working your way up. Start writing 1 or 2 articles every 3 days then move up to writing more every 3 days. :)

Where did you get the number 2,384? Sounds like a crazy writing goal!

I am trying to write 5 to 10 for each of my sites. :)

It depends on whether you are writing to rank an article and build traffic, or if you want to build links to your site from high ranking directories.

When I was into bum marketing, I submitted 2 to 3 articles per day for a week or so to about 5 of the best directories. Gave me lots of targeted traffic, and the first sales in my efforts to make money online! Hope this helps.

For now i have submitted 6 articles to directories and have 5 sales, before that I just have 1 single sales of two month advertising on usfreeads and graiglist. I think if you choose a good popular topic you may well done with 15-20 articles.

Articles is a great method for promoting. It's one of my top ways, but the myth of "how many" just needs to stop. It sounds like you don't want to write at all.

    The answer is simple.

Write until you are making the amount of money you want to make with that website, or getting the traffic that you want, etc.

Why stop at 10 or 20 because somebody said it was enough?

Rockstars go the extra mile... Trust me, you do not want to aim for second best in this business. If your competitors have 20 articles, do 100... If they have 5 still do 100.

If they have 100 backlinks, get 1,000... you want to DOMINATE, not "do enough"... Be a champion, a rockstar =)

I don't think there is an actual number. There are some people in this forum that submit 2-3 articles to ezinearticles every day. Their biggest portion of their traffic comes from there. However, this isn't as easy as it may sound. This could particularly be the case if you are in a small niche and finding it difficult to write so many articles on such a small topic. However, do some keyword research and you'll quickly come up with some good keywords to focus your writing around. From there, there really isn't a specific number.

My suggestion would be for you to get a marketing strategy, perhaps daily or weekly. Something that is realistic for you. For example, maybe write 1 article, submit your site to 5 directories, spend 30 minutes on a related forum answering questions and getting involved in the community, and post daily on your blog. I do this for all of my sites, then I begin to tweak as I figure out what is and isn't working. I've had more success in article marketing in some niche's more than others. I've got websites right now that I don't do any article marketing for.

3, no wait 5, maybe 6? If only there were some way to know when enough is enough.

theres no minimum, just right as many quality articles as you can, some will give you results some wont, see what sticks and what doesnt

alternatively you can do extensive keyword research and right just a few great articles under great keywords, then build backlinks to those articles to make sure they get on page one.

Two articles, kept on the "Most Viewed" list on EzineArticles.com, are all you need.

You figure out how to do that. :)

You want to write articles about your products/keyword and then different variations depending on the item. From every angle in a readable and informative way. More links the better.
