    I have a personal blog and I am thinking about just taking out personal details and making it public and slapping ads on it. I am wondering if any of you guys have a personal blog and if any of you have AdSense on it. Do you earn anything from it?
    Do you get any traffic?

    I do not have a personal blog but i know the answer.You will not make a lot of money through it.Instead start concentrating on a niche or a micro niche blog.Do not put too much effort on personal blog with the sole intention of MM through it.Hope that helped.

    yes, i get one, with my personal blog i got 300-400 UV daily and it has PR-3, of course I running Adsense on it,.. :D

    You wont make much money with adsense from a personal blog. 1) People will not click on your ads, because usually people who click on adsense ads are those who are looking for something (reach you through search engines) and 2) the amount you will get per click is again low because most probably what you're writing about (and hence what the ads that show up your site is about) won't be things that advertisers want to sell products/services about.

    I had one about half a year ago. I was getting 100-200 uniques, a couple of clicks a day. Since my niche was Make Money Online, each click gave me close to a $1.

    i suggest u to have personal blog sum social,i mean inspite of entering all data relating to u.do add some more stuff so that people come and ur traffic will increase...weel if u want to make ur blog in top rankings and want to get good traffic figures,then u shud get a professional SEO ,,
