OMG!! Google trying to kill blogger.com Give A look

I have two blogs on blogger.com. I used that host because it was free, plus easy to learn and use (It was my first time in blogland). Who could ask for more? Recently, blogger.com updated and streamlined some of its feautres. Hard to understand that they would now pull the plug.

 

They will not shut it down. Too many users are using it to shut it down, and Google knows that of those members, there are a few that will file lawsuits if the service shuts itself down.

 

Yes. This rule is for the new registrations... old Blogger users and old blogspot blogs are safe.

 

Is it true? where did you read about this? They can't just shut it down.

 

you can;t apply for adsense with blogger blog it mean no one is going to use blogger.

blogger recently blocked google crawler to index the blog( no index in robox.txt for google crawler) it mean most of old blogger also quit the blogger and i think google know about the impact on his bussiness.

without users blogger will automatically shuts.. hope that google will not ban old blogger blogs

 

just try to add adsense from within the blog itself and not directly from adsense website..

I think you may be panicking on this one. Blogger is owned by google and the blogger control panel allows you to automatically put code on every page of your blog. I don't think they would do that if they were against adsense on blogger blogs. A blog is a blog and they are perfect for contextual advertsing, and google i am sure knows this

 

You should just wander over to the Services section of DP. Surely someone over there can help you move your posts for the right amount of money..

it won't close, Google would have notified us. or are they so broke to pay for Blogspot .com domain name ?
in addition they are making decent Adsense money from some big blogger blogs.

don't you guys think that blogger should make a downloadable copy of their software just like Wordpress, this way even if they stop it. we still can run it somewhere.

there is an import feature in wordpress. you can import blogpsot blogs to your wp blog.
