    I contacted a well respected SEO guy on another forum and he told me something I had never heard.

    Basically said that (when comparing my website to another google top ranked site for that keyword) --- "they show a on page seo rank for that keyword of 75.9 percent you rank # 2 with a on page seo rank of 59.7 percent the only difference I see between your sites is they put that keyword in bold print a lot in the body of the website --not a big deal."

    No, bold and or strong tags have no real life bearing on SEO and simply make your copy read like some idiot wrote it.
