    Guys
I need to buy a new laptop, Suggest me the best one pls.
Dont want Mac / windows only .

    My Primary Use

The laptop will be turned on for over 15 hrs every day and will be loading and performing multiple programs at a time. i mean to say like adobe, word, internet browser, movie player, all has to be working at the same time..
I dont dowload much but i do a lot of streaming buffering channels.
Shud never be slow and has to give me high performance / speed
i dont play games / watch movies on it..
But streaming channels yes i do that.

Any suggestions. My budget 1000$ max
    thanks

Since your budget in under $1000, I doubt you can find an Alienware. I'd just go with a Dell Inspiron.

I can recommend the Toshiba Satellite. Mine came with 4GB Ram, 250 GB HD, and 17 inch screen for about $700.

So far it's been really bulletproof.

don't go with DELL, as they replace old and refurbish part when your current part broken.

go with HP, they replaced new part for you under warranty, if broken.

I'm planning to take up a Dell Studio 15 series and from the surface I must say that the artist edition is an absolute beauty.

In my oppinion almost all are the same. Bang for the Buck gooes to the Toshiba Satellite series laptop.

HP and Sony are good also. Check the sales flyers for Best Buy,and HH Gregg and Sam's or Costco.

According to your budget I'll suggest the following top four laptops :
    1. Dell XPS Series
    2. HP Pavilion Series
    3. Toshiba Satellite Pro Series
