Yeah? Google AdSense Account Disabled

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by Quench, Nov 13, 2009.

after using google adsense for 3 years, suddenly i get an email saying the following:
    -------------
    Hello,

While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense
account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since
keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage our
advertisers in the future, we've decided to disable your account.
    -------------

my account had $142.00 in it and i guess thats gone.

has this happened to anyone else? anyone know if i can get my adsense back?

i dont get how a harmless teen site can "damage our
    advertisers" google says.

I would have suggested trying to figure out why your site was disabled before filing an appeal, but that's obviously too late now.

Some reasons besides warez and adult content your account might have been disabled:
    - copied content
    - non-allowed ad placement
    - drawing attention to your ads on your site
    - purchased traffic
    - no privacy policy

I would look over your site with a very discerning eye and change anything that might be anywhere on the borderline of not allowed.

I can understand its extremely harsh to get yoru accoutn disabled after 3 long years with no problems and suddenly boom! So, good luck with your appeal, and i hope you'll get your account back ASAP!

The most frustrating thing with Google adsense is the fact they dont tell you what the reason for loosing the account is in the 1st place,it would be better to send a warning email 1st saying something like we have noticed some suspect clicking going on with your account we dont intend paying you for them and if it happens again your account will be closed.

But they dont do they

If your AdSense account was inactive for last 6 months (no or minimal earnings), then this is also the reason why they have disabled your account.

Hello Mr Gill, I think we have met.
The TOS clearly states that you can lose an account through inactivity but I have never heard of anyone who has.

    Hi Acorn :)
The emails never mention the exact reason, just the same old line of "significant risk". Only Google knows why he got banned, but just mentioning inactivity is also a reason.

What's the URL of your site? It might be easier to suggest why your account was disabled if you post this, then if something is wrong you can change it before you appeal.

are you running any teen / dating affiliates along with adsense ? if you are running such ads it might have showed some adult ads ad that could be the reason.
