    Yes IBall,

Why should we go to that much expensive player when same quality players available at even better cheap cost..?
We are going to release the new HD Player very soon. I have seen it at the development time and very much impressed; I could not wait anymore to release it online.. ;)

    Cheers.

I would like to try the Ripe FLV Player but can't get a copy of it. There doesn't seem to be a download option anywhere, just a form http://www.hitasoft.com/sendfile.php which I (rather optimistically it seems) filled in but I have not received the files.

Just wondering if there is any player out there that can play Real Media (RM) songs? I have been using RM format on my website for close to 10 years, but I think it would be much better if they can play the songs using an embedded player and not rely on Real Player.

    Thanks a lot

Real Media is obsolete, and so most computers don't have the RM codec installed (installing the RM codec offends some antivirus). If the visitor doesn't have the codec installed on their computer, then no web-based player can play it.

wow, a lot of people are interesting in it. well it is an old post, in 2009 the most popular web players are jw player, flow player and a good web player maker: PlayerBox.

jw and flow player are stand-alone web player, which you can use directly. But it is not easy to change skin for them. Playerbox fetched up the disadvantages. It used a new technology to make you could build a web player easy and quick by just drag and drop the elements into the edit pannel.

science is updating everyday, I belive there will be more and more good software come out in 2010.

    Hi

I think it's better to go for some best commercial player like hdflvplayer.net or agriya player.

I played with different free flv player and i don't think it will be good for my valuable website.

I am using contus hdflvplayer for my website and it was really worth. They are even good in support.

    Thanks
    Andy

    Did anyone try Flayr yet?

It's a free flv player for usage on websites and totally skinable.
Next version will also support streaming video and Youtube videos.

It's also free to use for commercial websites.

    See http://www.flayr.net
