    You already have Adsense units on both your blogs, in the same places. I'd suggest placing a link unit somewhere near the top of the blog.

    Both these blogs are new so it may take lots of time, work, and promotion to get a reasonable amount of traffic to monetize the ads.

    Focus on the traffic, getting good/quality traffic it doesn't matter what methods you guys are using as long as you can drive good/quality traffic into your site/blog, google adsense is the easiest way :D
