    how long does it take for the effects of high PR blog comments to kick in? Ive done a lot of blog commenting on high PR 3-7 blogs with little out bound links with little effects

    Of course.
    They cannot bring you expected traffic which many usually think. But the backlinks are really effective and supportive for good SERP. I usually do that for backlinks.

    I would stop worrying about dofollow and nofollow comments. Even a nofollow comment can bring in real human visitors and traffic. But if you're particular about that the effects of your commenting you will see during the next pagerank update.
