Help on buying a digital camera

Hi guys. I need to buy a digital camera (and video recorder), but I need help on deciding, because I don't really know what good cameras are.

I need:

• Something under $200
• Something thats also great for taking videos
• High quality pics and videos
• Something small. Non of those big huge Canon cameras
• 4GB+

Can anyone throw me some suggestions? Thanks alot.

 

just google latest digital camera or latest camcorder ang google and you'll find lots of good models.

Consumer Reports does a reputable job of determining the best cameras etc. Check out the magazine or the online version.

I understand that Canon is the supplier for almost all Digital Camera "Guts"

 

I think that if you are makeing use of the digital camera for the videos then i wioll recommed you to buy the hanycam instead of the digital camera the clarity will be good and the cost may be little high.

I would always go for Canon or Nikon and buy a decent SLR. But this is for good photography!

Do not buy cheap cameras. I like my new SONY HX1 ultrazoom - its so much fun. Great quality, I must tell you...

 

I would like to suggest you to buy Nikon DSLR camera. SLR cameras are best for photography. If you want small and good camera so there are so many models are available in Nikon which is providing good functions with excellent picture quality as well as you can capture videos with good resolutions.

 

i think SONY is best..........that provides all features

 

If you want to get serious about photography you need to get a digital SLR, (Canon is best)

 

Canon and Nikon are the camera makers without a shadow of a doubt
