Adsense not showing all the time

    Hi,

I asked about this question in the official Google adsense forum over a week ago and I never received a single reply, now I have returned from holiday I would still like to know what is happening to adsense in my forum as it is acting weird.

I have adsense on my site for years with few problems, but a couple of weeks back the ads stopped showing on some of the forum pages. It only seems to do it with internet explorer. It makes no difference if I am logged in or out, but for much of the time the google ads are not showing

If anyone has an explanation of what is happening I'd love to hear it.

I was going to say that the forum is in my signature link, but it seems to have been removed now, so here it is-

Thanks in advance for any replies

I don't get "public service" ads, there is just no advert there at all, just a blank space. It's not just me either because a few members of my forum are also experiencing the same thing. I have no idea what is causing it though

If it only happens when you are using Internet Explorer, it means it's most likely due to a security setting in your browser.

There is already lots of discussion of the issue on the official Google Adsense forums and elsewhere.

looks like table allignment issue. i see ads on FF but dont see ads on IE. play around with your template and where you are displaying the ads, try to increase width and hight a little. that will help. if you cannot change the table width, then try putting smaller ad block which will also work

It is because of the lack of keywords,

Adsens takes the words in the page and use them for generation.

Like me, for my hitchhiking section I don't really get any to appear,
because, what company would invest in hitchhiking ads?

Thanks for the replies so far, but I still don't think anything explains what is happening.

A couple of days after posting this, the issue went away and the adverts appeared as that have done for the last few years. Nothing has been changed in the code on my site at all.

Today the issue has reappeared again

It's not just happening on my site as it happens on here as well, where the google ads are supposed to show at the top and bottom of the article. They show up in firefox, but not IE
