What is the best Message Board or Forums to use? I'm starting a Message Board for my site, and i don't know what's the best FREE message board to use, currently i'm considering Conforums.com and SuddenLaunch.com. Pleas help me, enlighten me
If you're looking for message board software, I'd look into phpBB or SMF. They're free and, as long as you keep up to date with the versions, pretty safe. As for where to host it, if you can't afford a ton check out web hosting lists for deals. Most of them get affiliate commissions and, as a bonus, a lot of have arranged for discounts for their visitors.
SMF MyBB phpBB Vanilla Those are pretty much the top ones that I know about right now. I would say the first three are all pretty similar but if you are looking at changing the themes alot I would go with SMF. (simplemachines.org)
