All-in-one-SEO upgrading is becoming a pain

Seems that every time I upgrade the all-in-one-SEO pack plugin I have to re-enable it. It seems like a lot of unnecessary extra steps for someone who has to upgrade 20+ blogs. Anyone else wondering what the purpose of this extra step is?

Platinum SEO pack does the same job as all-in-one-SEO and it has a straightforward upgrade process.

It does seem to be a huge amount of work; I run a decent number of blogs too, and use Wordpress to run a lot of static sites- there also seem to be a lot of updates, although I guess that's not entirely a bad thing.
^ haha hear hear, I guess it's one way of making people see.

The upgrades aren't necessary you know, so do just like I do - skip the upgrading part.

Best thing to do is.. click disable this plugin in the SEO plugin admin section... then update it... then turn it back on, it keeps all your keywords etc etc.. not all that much trouble for something that sends us bucket loads of traffic!

Thats a good point maybe he want us to see the donate button lol. I agree though every time i have to update plugins all-in-one seo is always among them. But as far as functionality is concerned the plugin works great.

The last 3 times I updated "All in one SEO' plug in, the plug in stopped working properly, and on those blogs it still doesn't work. Can't get too mad about something that is free, but it is a pain in the ass now.

I had to update it today and I didn't need to enable it afterwards. I was expecting it, but there was no need. I'm guessing the creator must have fixed it.

all in one seo become a big pain for me when i find after 3 days of upgrading that my plugin is automatically deactive, even i enable the plugin. And next time, i will only use platnium seo for all blogs.

This plugin, I discovered, is what's been bringing down the dashboard on all my blogs. For that reason, and the reason that you keep having all these updates and have to keep reactivating the stupid thing, I decided I just don't need it anymore and I'll just make sure my SEO practices are better on my blogs.
