I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to shared hosting that allowed cron jobs or at least a dedicated server that was reasonable? GoDaddy just ain't cutting it for me anymore.

Wow. This looks really good. Do you have experience with maxiehost? Looks too good to be true, IMO, but I'm definitely checking them out.

I'm still learning the inticacies of PHP so I don't trust myself to make anything like that myself just yet, but I'll look into it after I get a bit more adept. Thanks anyway.

If that's true, then GoDaddy is the exception to the rule.

I have used host gator in the past without problem and they allow crons.

I just started playing with a godaddy virt server and it does allow crons.

Are there any other problems/concerns with godaddy we should look out for?

    Thanks
