    Hi all,

    I am new to this forum. I need help. I created new directory that I loaded PDF files on my site at:

    http://www.thecre.com/comment/PDF/MMS-2008

    and I want to use google custom search to search these PDF files. So how can I get google to index or crawl my site especially this new directory. Of course my site domain address is www.thecre.com

    I have a sitemap at the following directory:
    http://www.thecre.com/comment

    Create a xml sitemap for your site by using any of the free sitemap generating tools available and submit the same to google by logging into your google webmaster tools.

    Google custom search by default will search the content of the pdf files also. You dont have to do anything special for it apart from including the custom search code in your site.

    Sitemap is very useful for the website. So make site map from xml-sitemaps.com

    Adding Google custom search to your website and XML sitemaps are two different topics. If you want to create an XML sitemap for your website, you can try these xml sitemap tutorials.

    I think it will do good if you submit this URL to google manually since this URL will list down all files within your PDF directory
