    I know that, we do not hide texts in our website. But my question is if we have drop down menu in our site will consider this one as a hidden text or not?

    usually hidden texts are used to dump lot of keywords. thats when people get in trouble. otherwise hiding some parts of the content and show it when necessary is a commonly used technique in web development.

    no that's fine, don't worry. Google just doesn't like sites that hide text by changing the font colour etc.

    Never use any hide text in your website because whenever google check this type of this it could be give the penalty to the website. This is also called an spamming and very bad spamming so never use in future if you want to better ranking on SERP.

    Hidden text is considered when the font size is 1px or display:none attribute is there.

    Let me know others view on this.

    You will be fine! The simple answer is not to hide text, a standard drop down menu should contain any hidden text no hidden text :)
