Process Paypal without curl_exec enabled?

    The hosting company refuses to enable curl_exec which i needed to make paypal working.

    I have bought an ecommerce script (e-commerce of WP) which uses curl_exec to make a paypal payment.

    Which function can i use to replace curl_exec? Has anyone encountered this problem and fixed it??

    I would go with another host that does have this enabled. Especially as I guess PayPal will be your income?
