    I agree with most of the posts here...analytics is great as it's free, but if you want to get really serious there are premium ones out there.

    Personally i run Webalizer, Awstats and analytics on most of my projects i care about.

    Google miss some users due to the fact they use JavaScript
    Awstat and webalizer count some bots and get missleading stats.

    So why not use all 3 and compare the stats. That way you get an average for those 3 and that should be more accurate than only using one of them

    I dont know that I trust the google -- Meaning that they are not stealing your keywords....

    Thus I use awstats......

    You can use awstats for tracking traffic. I have not used GA much as i am quite satisfied with awstats.
