Hi hope we can put some question here and expert may give the answer and help.

    My question is:

Does Google/Yahoo or other SE can restrict a domain for a single keyword ??

Example: suppose my domain will show for any keyword like "Help Shibly","Support Shibly" but not for "Relief Shibly". Google/Yahoo or others may create a restriction on my domain for the keyword "Relief Shibly".

That is very much possible. I too had faced that. As part of your keyword was indexed well, concentrating on the keyword for a week and you will surely get indexed.

It is not possible a site can not be banned for a single or two keyword to appear.

The above question whether you can get banned from one or two keywords, the answer is yes people , i wish people would actually get the facts right before giving other people advise

So yes its very possible that if you have over optimised or over used one anchor text then that anchor text could be penalised.

I remember around 18 months ago i did it with a keyword and it was banished to page 10 until 12 months later, but all my other keywords were still on page 1 and 2

Although Shibly i would have thought you'd know that since you sell SEO services ?

I also some idea like that too much anchors text may get penalty. But I want expert opinion. As I now confirm now.

I will ask many questions here and the questions must be mystification.

Thank you sir for your valuable comments.

Why you people are talking about ban ion a particular keyword. Thread starter actually doesn't mean a ban on a keyword. He says that he is not indexed on that particular keyword. Please revise the forum topic.
