hire someone to post, and pay based on quality and quantity, this is the easiest. Also make sure your site gives visitors reason to post and come back. (reviews, discussions, etc)
Is that where a ranking system shows up that shows which user has posted the most comments? (sorry for the seemingly obvious question lol) That's actually genius; stroke the ego of your users to make them feel like they've won something, no matter how small. sedge, brilliant!
Best way is to create contest, like best comments or the most comments (not spam comment). Doesn't mean that u need to give money. Give something useful digital product like e-book, software.. or even your self-made audio or video product (like your speech or your how-to video) hope this would helps

Hi all I have been reading this thread with great interest as I have just started up a forum of my own and I am currently lookgn to get people to sign up etc and post, I have started paying people to post on my site but its getting expensive with paying out for v-bulletin itself and then hosting and then paying someone to upload it the server and put it together and spending about £50 so far on people posting there, so I have set up a competition that the winner will win a domain name which is listed on the site and $10 cash, then there is cash prizes down to fourth. My question is can I post that in the competition section without getting an infraction because I have been treading carefully around here after posting it in the wrong place and getting warned for it being spammed. It really is just a genuine site witha genuine competition being run and this way I might be able to start clawing back some revenue before then from adsense etc. Do you think that the end date of the 30th Nov is to far away and people will lose interest ?? basically the top prize goes to the top poster with the most posts and down to fourth and if successfull I will run this every month with the prizes and money getting better as my revenue does ?? How does this sound to everyone, and please can I take your advice, I wont post the link here because I might get in trouble, so please PM if you want to take a look.
