Does Co-Op Use Google to find indexed pages?

One of my sites using Co-Op has /index.html indexed by Google. But I recently changed the entire site and made it a free image hosting (turnkey site) which has index.php not index.html

Now whenever I try to validate, it says /index.html so I guess that means does DP Co-Op use Google to find indexed pages? if not we may have a problem..

Yes it does. If you have pages indexed that no longer exist it can cause problems.

Mod rewrite can probably serve as a work around.

Make a site:domain.com search on Google and that's about what the co-op would see when it gives you weight. It also looks at PR.
