    Good day,

How would you improve the layout on http://www.photoshoptalent.com/
I like all the blue stuff, but don't like the gray and yellow content boxes...
    Any expert advice?

Site looks good to me too.
If you don't like the yellow/grey you could try changing the grey to an off white and tone down the yellow a bit.

Have a look at www.coolhomepages.com for some inspiration or this article on choosing colour from nature.

    Thx Varlik,

I was looking for sites like that.
What do you mean by 'try changing the grey to an off white and tone down the yellow a bit.'
    What's off white ?
These grey/yellow tables just feel to much html'ie-like, if you know what i mean :)

By off white I mean white with just a touch of colour. You could maybe also try adding a gradient to the background. With the yellow try making it lighter (#FEF4BC). Experiment with the colours till you see something you like.

From your website I take it you use Photoshop. Best thing to do is make a mock up of the page in Photoshop then convert it to HTML/CSS.

I think your layout may be too busy. There's no focal point that my eye is drawn to. Maybe highlight tutorial or an article and make it nice and big.

    Otherwise, it does look nice.
