    Hi guys,

I need a simple, single page ad for a magazine and as you know proteindude never leaves a contest unfinished so this is guaranteed.

    Requirements:

    - main colours to be used are red and white

    - my logo needs to be displayed somewhere on the ad. The logo can be downloaded from here http://www.sendspace.com/file/5xbbwg

    - size: Type/Image area: 287mm x 200mm
    Trim 297mm x 210mm
    Bleed 307mm x 220mm

    - the following sentence needs to appear in big letters and it should cover the most part of the page: Where do more and more bodybuilders go to buy high quality proteins at lower prices?

After the sentence perhaps insert the logo. And underneath or at the bottom of the page write: We deliver Australia wide for only $7 per order

And then at the bottom of the page you can also write: Our showroom is now open at 25/11 Bryants Rd Dandenong South VIC 3175 Tel: (03) 9793 7007

And the very last sentence at the bottom of the page needs to say: /!\ If you're not buying direct you're paying whey too much! ( /!\ this is supposed to be a triangle with an exclamation mark inside of it)

And that is about it. Please use a red background and white letters. I prefer to keep everything really nice and simple.

Any questions, please ask and I prefer all entries to be on the thread.

    Winner gets $30 via paypal.

Contest ends in no more than 24hrs from this post.

Thanks for getting this started. It looks good but I prefer no images at all. This is what separates me from the rest of my competition which is simplicity. Also see if you can make everything mainly red and white and therefore lose the black outline. So if possible to try again, please remove all photos and do it text only. The triangle looks good and you can keep it as it is even though it is not red and white.

EDIT: my bad. There is no black outline. I was on another monitor and there seemed to be a black outline. It is just a darker shade of red which is fine.

Thanks for the changes. It looks better but still a little too much for my taste. I think the rays and the background effects complicate the image and I am trying to keep it simple.

I really like the bottom part (attached) and if you can make the whole ad look similar to the simplicity of the lower part I think it will be very close to what I am after.

I need to get some rest now so I may not be around for a while but I will definitely return and the contest will definitely end within 24hrs from the first post.

Looking better but I think you need to get the "priorities" right. make the main sentence bigger so it covers more of the page, remove the glow behind the logo and make it bigger and move lower the part about the $7 delivery. Everything else looks good. To see what I had in mind I am attaching an image I tried to put together. Please note my paint skills are very, very limited :)

Now I'm definitely off to bed.

    Hello
    Here are the mods

I kept the glow deliberately behind cose the words in round on logo are in RED color which mixed with the background , also the words in logo "com.au" are red
now i have removed the glow and made the text in logo white so it doesnt mix with red BG

    Anything let me know

technoguy: #8 I like it. The only changes I would make is make the question font slightly smaller as it seems to be a touch too close to the edge. I would also move the logo a little lower and make it slightly smaller and I would give the globe a white outline (a white circle) so especially in the lower half it won't blend in with the background. #9 I don't like the white. I understand your intention but I prefer something like #8 which is mainly red for the background

MohammadHaja: thanks for the entries. Although I like your style none of them are suitable. This time I am going for simplicity and yours seem to be a little too busy somehow. This makes them a little hard to read because I can't seem to focus anywhere on the page. If you decide to try again then go for something very simple and keep it to mainly red (for background) and white for the letters.

UKF_Kurtis: thanks for entering another of my contest. Right now it's between you and technoguy. I want something simple and mainly red and white. I would remove the drop shadow effect for the letters and I would make the whole background white without exception. So the white part needs to be turned to red.

Kurtis, thanks again. The red background one looks really good but I think something is missing. Either reverse the colour of the logo and make it white (the letters in the logo should be white) or just use some white effect or something for the background for logo only. Everything else looks really good.

Actually Kurtis, it looks very good and if no one else submits anything before the cut off time (24hrs from my initial post) then I will have to declare you as the winner but I will require some small alterations, such as a white outline for the globe.
