    I don't know on what basis the top 100 are to be decided but, www.wolframalpha.com could be on the list. It's different from everything else out there.

    why do you need this? if you a person smart enough to come to digitalpoint cant think of more then the top 5 - 7 ( ask.com , aol.com ) then where will the non smart people search? the same ones everyone else knows!! :p just my .02c

    Top 100 is a bit ridiculous. But then again so is top 50 or top 20. Most of anybody's time spent browsing through these search engines is spent on a very few ammount. Mainly Google, Yahoo, Ask, Bing, and a few others.

    1) Google
    2) Bing
    3) Yahoo

    All others I assume do not have as much popularity as these three search engines

    Well but since you need search engines to complete your Top 100 list.

    Another one I can add to your list is Guruji.com. It is an Indian Seacrh Engine. The No 1 in India and also the No 1 search engine for music searches globally

    Well, I use my very own search engine. It's still in beta, but the results are amazing and it uses three major search engines, Google, Yahoo, and Bing! I still use others to compare results with mine. You should check my search engine out. http://www.seekit.ws

    From my point of view Google search engine is best for me and i know everyone likes it because we get all the necessary information which we wants it has the latest information which we have instantly with just putting some keyword which we wants.
