    if I have pr2 can be decreased to pr1 ?

    I have checked my PR ranking in some of my blogs and their is no changes in many of my blogs so probably they just randomly update PR ranking this month but who knows that they have major PR ranking soon

    PageRank is totally related with the total no. of backlinks for your website. It can be decrease if you have less no. of BLs.

    You can certainly lose your PR.

    As said before, links are quite heavily linked with PR, so if you lose some links, or those links lose their PR, it could result in a loss for you.

    You could even have your PR reduced to zero if you're found violating their webmaster guidelines.

    I am still satisfied with being on the first page with some of my sites with little or no PR. I just searched one of my main keywords for a new site I built last week and its now on the first page of goog with 6 little backlinks.

    Your blog's page rank can definately decrease if dont lay emphasis on SEO and development of backlinks.....
