    I agree 100%! I think the same idea can be applied to most online services.

    For example, just look at the difference between the major social networking sites. ;)

    Sure usually Yahoo won't brings you as many visitors as Google, but for me they often converts very well. Anyway, you don't want to neglect any major search engines.

    I guess that traffic from Yahoo is most relevant than traffic from google, even there is a difference i quantity. Yahoo have quality.

    I'm pretty sure the visitors are the same. Yahoo! traffic is the same like Google traffic, they don't come from certain parts of the Internet. :p

    I think it depends on what kind of traffic your talking about. You could be talking about PPC google traffic & PPC yahoo traffic or you can be talking about Google search engine traffic and yahoo search engine traffic.

    For SEO. I find Google gives a ton more visitors than yahoo ever will give me for my current niches.

    For every 100 visitors I target for my PPC campaign, 90 come from google, 10 from yahoo. In terms of sales, my ratio of conversion is better in yahoo, but volume overall is very very high in google. So i guess, you shouldn't neglect both :)

    Yahoo cannot be ignored but it wouldn't be right to compare to Google. For most people, majority of sales come from Google.

    my yahoo traffic is about 1/5 of google traffic. maybe i need to track them well to see the conversion rate, only then i can tell you which one is better
