DMOZ is worth the time it takes to submit and forget. It is not critical to rankings, and while it used to carry some weight with google, it has been greatly devalued. I have a dozen or so DMOZ listings (some over 6 years) and there is absolutely no noticeable help with SERPS. You will get little, if any, traffic from a listing - and I suspect the majority of any traffic is other webmasters looking for a link from listed sites. DMOZ is greatly overrated for helping SERPS.

It took almost one year to get listed my one of the site with dmoz. Those interested to get listed there always remember to submit in quite relevant categories and keep patience. :)

Well done for getting listed in DMOZ. I've tried many times over the years to get listed and never had any success. In the end I figured it was wasting time and effort that could be better spent elsewhere.

I'm not sure how much benefit it will give you, but its certainly not a bad thing. Now that you are listed you can just monitor your logs and see for yourself how much traffic you get. Maybe you could post back in a months time and let the rest of us know how it worked out?

Very silly question. If the person's website got listed in dmoz that means he is got listed.

Five months on and I am still waiting for a listing on DMOZ. Well, i think if you have waited for more than 6 months then it is time that you retry. Also, it depends on the category that you have submitted your site to. If that category gets many listing requests then you might have to wait for as long as 6-8 months or less if that category gets lesser listings in a day/month.

Resubmitting just puts your listing at the bottom of the list - you shouldn't resubmit. It can take several years before an editor looks at your submission - it all depends on the category, if it has an editor, and how active that editor is.

I think being included in dmoz has SEO benifits but there is no direct traffic benefits

Yeah, I also checked that page is not cached in Google. What you can do is add a link to that page on your website somewhere or submit it on some social networks..
