Any harm in this?

I run a flash game arcade specializing in quality games. I'm thinking of marketing it a bit around the net as the site to go to that's not blocked by schools. Obviously, if this works, I'll be blocked by numerous schools in time. Is there any harm in schools filtering me out and blocking my site? I believe it's all just local and done by their internet settings, nothing I should be worried about long term correct? Just wanted to make sure no harm can come of the idea, if that's so, I'm going to try and work on that.

If they block your site it will be through their local proxy servers or routers. This will not affect you. It is the same thing as a parent blocking adult sites from their children. Doesn't affect the adult sites in anyway.

That's exactly what I figured, but I just wanted to confirm it to make sure before acting, thanks.

that won't affect your site. If I were you I'd rather not submit or post any info of my site to schools. But if that game is educational there is nothing to worry about.

There is definitely no problem with doing that. That is a good area to target. Many middle school/ high school kids are looking for sites that are not blocked by their schools. Good luck!

Well, don't worry and keep on your work.Whether the schools block your website or not will not affect your website. That's their way to protect the students
from online games. But the problem is,have you thought about problems such as what's the purpose of your website and who can be the potential visitors on
earth and etc...This may be good to the development to your website.

By the time they would block you, you would get enough revenue to work with other marketing tricks:)
