Best way to market a jewellery website.

    Hi there,

I recently started an online jewellery store called Dink Jewellery, you can probably guess by the spelling I'm from the UK. This, isn't a drop-shipping store, it's the real thing. We've been around for about 2 months now, and have tried Google AdWords, AdBrite, Facebook Ads, Branchr Ads and Yahoo Ads with minimal orders from all.

What is the best way to market the site, and drive sales?

    Let me know,

    Thanks,
    ~ Dink.

    Hey,

    I'm from the UK too!
You could use ebay, it's a great way to get traffic.
Is your site fully seo'd? You could keyword optimise your
site for specific keywords, add keyword rich content and
try for a high PR for easy low competition terms.

    I hope this helps. :)

    Hi Kat,

We're fully SEO'd, and keyword optimized...

We don't really want to use eBay, lowers brand reputability.

If you are having problem with PPC campaign you can use some tool to create and speed up your ppc campaign.
besides this use article and video marketing to get visitors to your site.

Craigslist would be a good one, or in the UK Gumtree

Why not try to market it offline? Give out some flyers or put a classified/display ad in newspaper or magazine.

Personally, i would go back to my website to see if anything can be done to improve it, while at the same time I would analyse any traffic data available to see how the customers come to my site, what pages they visit, how long they stay, where do they exit...etc

Does your site have the following pages: About us, Refunds/Returns, Delivery, Payments, Contact us?
Do you use SSL? How about the images. Do you have high quality, detailed & clear images of the items you are selling? Is there info product information available? How about the payment/s methods used.
All of these things might be deterring visitors from buying.

Once I've addressed my website, I would then tweak my advertising campaigns.

Not sure if you are willing to use paid methods or just free. I have been trying free methods so far, and they seem to be working. I am getting constant traffic, but not enough revenue.

Anyhoo, since you are only concerned about traffic, you can use some of the free methods, like

Article Marketing - Ezinearticles, articlesbase are some good ones.
Classified ads - craigslist.com, khrido.com are some free and good ones.
Flyer/Pamphlets - your local grocery stores.
Social Bookmarking - hasn't helped me much but doesn't hurt to try
    Blog commenting

You can also try PPC, many people seem to get extreme success with this method.
