    Hello everyone,

I created a survival website that contains alot of content about what to do during any type of disaster or incident and I've place Adsense on the left and middle (before the content).

Why is it that about 25% of the time I get a relevant ad and the other 75% is about office supplies or something completely unrelated? I'm running it on a Joomla CMS and i've edited the meta tags per article/content and it's still comes up with irrelevant ads or PSA's (public service announcements).

Any help or input would be much appreciated.

The address of the site is http://www.MySurvivalTips.com

I'll pass on the tip I learned yesterday from infonote - have you tried section targeting?

Assuming you want to be ranked for the keyword "survival" and display adsense ads about survival, you don't seem to have a lot of content about survival -- a lot about weather, earthquakes, and tornadoes, which Google does not have much ad inventory for. I would say get some content about survival and use that keyword everywhere you can.

No, I had adsense set for all text before but i've changed the ads located on the left to be graphic ads only but the rest is text.
