From buyer perspective, they will be more comfortable to read the sales letter that contain no ads. So i think premium member will get benefits.

yes i agree but it still does not mean we should be subjected to more intrusive ads in every other thread we read. It would also improve the CTR, im sure you will agree that most of the people who are now premium are professionals or seasoned webmasters, these types of people are a lot LOT less inclined to click on adverts than the regular "day to day" member/buyer. so removing them all together from premium members eyes will be beneficial to dp's adsense statistics. or better still - give us a tick box in our CP = Show Ads Yes/No

Actually, that's pretty good thinking. However, the small percentage of Premium Members versus regular members is very different indeed. Therefore, it would have little effect on the CTR.

It might be something to look at later down the track when there are maybe thousands of Premium Members (that oughta make Shawn laugh :D:D)

Another good thing to add, rather than or in addition to - Paypal Verified membership, maybe a little icon to show if the seller is paypal verified

Ok let's say I am verified premium member and I can still use one of my other paypal account which may unverified {if I intend to}. People do have more than one Paypal account for many genuine and other "obvious" reasons.

Oooh, I only immediately assumed that we all only use 1 Paypal account (which is true in my case). :)
I don't know for those who use more than one though, I guess they could still avail this by using their verified Paypal account to verify..

Ohh yes many have multiple paypal account to avoid tax, to cut down on paypal fees and also to scam :p

I assume that the whole point of having a " little icon to show if the seller is paypal verified" is to assure you that you transacting with verified paypal account, but that might not be the case always.

With VCC {very crappy cards} floating around all over the web how much worth is that kind of proof. I understand it would be a good feature, but this is not full-proof at the moment.

    Just my 4 cents

No sorry... then you would just get spammers paying, then just spamming away. It goes away on it's own based on post count.

If you often sell something in BST and have a large incoming Private message, i recommend it . The highlighted & stickied thread, larger PM box, bold username, definitely helps me a lot. Customizing profile page is also fun :D
