Your visits and pageviews claimed in the auction listing don't match what you claim in your post, and your Analytics screenshot doesn't even come close to the traffic claimed. I assume the Google Analytics stats are the most accurate, but what is going on there?

How does the site make money?

 

The screenshots are from GA and awstats, if you need a complete export I can give them to you.

I do not have any Adsense installed, only selling external banners for software owners. Probably using Adsense the money which can be earned will increase, but I am not really an Adsense fan.

I am selling because I own another 20 domains from which I will keep only 2, one of these are already here quite popular in directory section ( www.submitsuite.com ). I do not have time for all of my sites so I will sell part of them.

Where does the traffic originates from?

 

Only SEO, people searching after software names and software names + reviews.

 

On marketplace data it says 40,000 Uniques per month but on your analytics screenshots it says 4,000?

Pagehits on marketplace data says 460,924 but analytics makes it just over 7,000?

 

Paulie please check the stats on: http://www.downbroad.com/screens.zip , the Google Analytics shows lower values than Webalizer. I have them both in the archive.

 

It shows 4300 Uniques for the month not 40,000 and Google Analytics is much more accurate

Some additional informations:

1. DownBroad just got Google PageRank 4 at the last update.
2. I was asked how downbroad brings money if not using Adsense. There are 3 methods:

- featured software (see an example http://www.downbroad.com/Windows/Graphic-Apps/Editors/BatchPhoto )
- newsletter insertion for the sofwtare owners ( see for example http://www.downbroad.com/newsletters/200801 )
- using affiliating links at downloading and purchasing (ShareIt,Avanget,DigitalRiver,Regsoft etc)
